Mō te Tūranga | About the Role Broker Hub is all about getting more Kiwis into their own home, and this role will focus on managing BNZ accredited Mortgage Advisors/Brokers with support, training, and guidance to increase overall performance. You’ll be an expert in the home lending space, seeing around 250 customers into homes each year. You'll manage the application process, from the time the application is received right through to customer onboarding. What are 5 day to day tasks the person in this role will complete? Perform credit analysis and approve requests for term lending/temporary excesses / increased limits Manage loan rework rates and Quality Assessment reviews to expected standards Manage and facilitate Broker submissions Maintain quality of credit risk/operational risk Ensure complex lending scenarios/applications are managed from submission through to settlement liaising internal stakeholders where required What is the most challenging thing about this opportunity? Being able to consistently deliver strong quality volume whilst managing a large pipeline. What attributes will this person have in order to be successful? If you’re experienced in home lending and passionate about using that knowledge to help get Kiwi’s into their next home, this position is for you! You’ll enjoy credit writing, love crunching the numbers, doing the admin and credit decisioning, but you also get a kick out of developing relationships with Brokers - yeah, you're a special breed of lender!
