Since 1938, Cotteswold Dairy has flourished from a modest milk round—delivering just 30 gallons a day using a bucket and ladle—into one of the UK’s most respected independent, family-run dairies, rooted in Tewkesbury. Today, we process, pack, and deliver over 100 million litres of milk and dairy products each year to doorstep customers and businesses across England and Wales, operating from multiple depots and a modern production site in Tewkesbury.

Are you an experienced Administrator with strong organisational skills and a passion for delivering excellent customer service? Cotteswold Dairy, one of the UK’s leading independent, family-owned dairies, is looking for a Credit Control Administrator to join our busy Finance Team at our Tewkesbury Head Office. This role plays a vital part in ensuring accurate accounts receivable management, debt collection, and account reconciliation, working closely with depots, sales managers, and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate and manage debt collection across depots.
• Conduct aged debt reviews and reporting to improve debtor profiles.
• Manage and reconcile customer accounts and resolve queries promptly.
• Liaise with sales managers and depot staff to support efficient collection processes.
• Reconcile and clear unallocated cash amounts.
• Maintain accurate records of chasing activity and client communication.
• Provide accounts information to internal departments.
• Support reception and handle general calls as required.

About You

• Proven experience in a customer service or credit control role, or knowledge of accounting processes.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with a clear, professional telephone manner.
• Strong IT skills, including Excel and accounting software packages.
• Organised, detail-oriented, and able to prioritise under pressure.
• Confident, proactive and resilient, able to handle challenging conversations with calm professionalism.
• A positive, flexible attitude and strong team player approach.
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships internally and externally.
• (Desirable) Knowledge of the dairy industry, retail, or similar FMCG environment.
