Happy Days Nurseries, a leading group of children’s day nurseries are seeking a Credit Control Administrator to join our accounts department and play a crucial role in ensuring smooth financial operations for our nurseries.
As Credit Control Administrator, you’ll be responsible for managing key financial processes to ensure efficiency within the department. You will monitor debtors, follow up on payments, and implement credit control procedures, ensuring provisions for bad debts are accurately maintained. Maintaining the sales ledger will be a fundamental part of your role, ensuring billing accuracy and assisting nursery managers with re-running invoices and checking unbilled sessions.
You will also be responsible for bank and cash management, efficiently posting receipts from various sources onto our system and conducting reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy. In addition to these core tasks, you will support nursery operations by conducting enrolment checks and managing records of active children, ensuring data integrity and compliance with processes.
Managing Early Years funding administration will be another key aspect, working closely with finance officers and nursery managers to support funding processes and maintain accurate parent declaration records. Your role will also include supporting the finance team with various ad hoc tasks, assisting in audit preparations, and contributing to department-wide improvements.
Beyond finance responsibilities, you will handle general administrative duties, maintain structured financial records, respond to queries professionally, and ensure all communications align with our service standards. Attending meetings and contributing ideas for efficiency improvements will also be part of your regular responsibilities, alongside archiving records as needed.
