About the Role We’re looking for a Credit Control Administrator to join our finance team and take ownership of our credit control processes. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing customer accounts, chasing overdue payments, and maintaining accurate records within our finance systems. You’ll play an important part in keeping cash flow healthy, working closely with both our accounts and operations teams to ensure everything runs smoothly. Key Responsibilities Manage credit control within the accounts team Keep track of customer accounts to identify outstanding debts Proactively contact customers via phone and email to encourage timely payment Handle customer queries and liaise with the operations team to resolve invoicing issues Ensure payments are allocated correctly within customer accounts Work with our Invoice Finance team to resolve and provide information as needed Upload invoices to the finance portal and maintain accurate system records Add new sites and customers to BigChange and update Sage when required Prepare and distribute reports on aged debt and financial performance What We’re Looking For Must-Haves: Confident communicator with strong negotiation and persistence skills Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data Good working knowledge of Excel and a genuine love of numbers Nice-to-Haves: Experience using Sage Previous experience in a credit control or finance administration role Offer & Benefits Salary: £26,000 per annum Full-time, permanent position Hours: 8:00 - 4:00 or 8:30 - 4:30 Supportive, family-run business with a collaborative culture Opportunities for development within the finance team
