OMEX is the market leader in liquid fertilisers in the UK, manufacturing and exporting a unique range of plant nutrients and crop health promoters nationally and internationally.
We are currently looking for a credit control administrator to join our finance team on a temporary basis (initially for a 2 month contract with the possibility for it to be extended).
*Applicants must be available for an immediate start

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage the company’s receivable ledger to ensure a timely payment of invoices.
  • Assess customer credit worthiness through analysis of financial data; credit reports; and trading history. Where available information is ‘light’ collaborate with wider business for commercial appraisal.
  • Set credit limits and payment terms based on risk evaluation.
  • Develop and implement (alongside business engagement), processes for effective collections and payment plans.
  • Advise finance & business on overdue accounts for cashflow purposes.
  • Focus on trend analysis alongside business engagement to identify patterns/issues.
  • Build and maintain positive customer (internal & external) relationships ensuring clear and timely communication of all requirements and expectations.
  • Collaborate/engage with the sales team & business to address any invoice queries or discrepancies.
  • Lead the management of legal disputes in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Review and update credit control policies and procedures to align with industry best practices and seasonal business requirements.
  • Ensure and report on internal credit and collection policy compliance breaches ensuring business compliance and operational flow.
  • Ensure the robustness of PowerBI and business information for aged debts.
  • Respect seasonality of some of our businesses and structure the year to accommodate.
