Role description: The Credit Control Manager supports Customer Account Management Leadership in handling the CAM Team (Collection) in GSSC. This role is mainly responsible in operations management and maintaining strong collaboration between GSSC and the country. Ensures to deliver relevant, accurate and timely management information regarding business performance to support all parts of the business in making decisions. Leads the overall Accounts Receivables regional deliverables. Role accountabilities: Oversee the daily operations of GSSC Manila Finance Customer Account Management (CAM) team for all the regions supported. Accountable and responsible for the reviews of team’s collection target. Reviews team output for all assigned service deliverables to the onshore such as collection process and reporting. · Coordinates with CAM Specialist and Analyst for the timely and accurate processing of all tasks, concerns and ensures oversees team member work for quality and guideline compliance. Ensures that audit requirements during year-end financial audit are being provided and managed timely. Build strong relationship the stakeholders and communicate with them effectively to introduce process improvement and team’s performance updates. Addresses concerns and inquiries from Regional Counterparts with proposed resolutions as necessary. Responsible for streamlining and restructuring of processes across (including best practices). Strengthens Business Continuity Planning (BCP) which includes ensuring completeness of process documentation and strong back-up for critical tasks Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy or any related field in Finance. 7 to 9 years of relevant working experience focusing on end-to-end process of Accounts Receivable with at least 2-3 years people management role. Knowledgeable in Credit Management and scores tools such as Creditor Watch and Dun & Bradstreet. Proven strategic planning experience at management level. Exposure in Shared service or Multinational environment is an advantage. Experience with ERP Systems is preferred. Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, and Word) is required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. · Strong people handling skills. Excellent in cognitive thought and problem-solving. Strong communication skills: ability to work with up and down organizational structure and across multicultural organization; Excellent client management skills. · Ability to prioritize effectively. Strong continuous improvement and project management skills. Exemplary work ethic and professional integrity. Can work on flexible hours to meet changing work environment and to meet tight deadlines.
