ABOUT THE ROLE:

Are you ready to take ownership of critical finance operations and make a real impact? As a Credit Control and Master Data Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of our finance function, driving efficient credit control processes and ensuring the accuracy of customer and supplier master data.
Reporting to the Credit Control & Master Data Manager, you’ll manage B2B customer accounts from end to end: raising invoices, monitoring credit limits, and proactively following up on overdue payments. You’ll play a vital role in supporting cash flow, reducing risk, and maintaining data integrity that powers the wider business. If you’re detail-oriented, proactive, and ready to help streamline our financial operations, we’d love to hear from you.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Credit Control: Manage customer accounts, monitor outstanding balances, and chase overdue payments to ensure timely collections.
  • Invoice Raising: Accurately raise and process B2B customer invoices in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and company policies.
  • Customer Account Management: Set up and maintain customer accounts, ensuring credit limits are adhered to and updated in line with company policies.
  • Master Data Maintenance: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of customer and supplier master data, including creation, updates, and periodic reviews.
  • Credit Risk Monitoring: Assess customer creditworthiness and recommend adjustments to credit limits where necessary.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates on aged debt, outstanding balances, and other key credit control metrics to the Credit Control & Master Data Manager.
  • Query Resolution: Investigate and resolve customer queries related to invoices, payments, and account discrepancies promptly and professionally.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and suggest improvements to credit control, invoicing, and master data processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Compliance: Ensure all credit control, invoicing, and master data activities adhere to internal controls and external regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Finance team and other departments to align processes and resolve any issues impacting financial operations.
  • Support the Credit Control & Master Data Manager with additional projects, reports, and tasks as required.
