CREDIT CONTROL TEAM LEADER – HOME-BASED WITH VISITS TO OUR OTHER BUSINESS LOCATIONS AS REQUIRED.

From initial design, supply, and installation, through to ongoing maintenance and monitoring, we maintain the capability to help prevent, detect, and monitor Fire and Security risks for our customers up and down the country. We are currently looking to appoint a new Credit Control Team Leader on a Hybrid basis.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct day-to-day management of Credit Controllers
  • Responsible for the team’s monthly cash collection and quarterly reduction of aged debt targets.
  • Undertake monthly 121s and yearly appraisals.
  • Train & mentor team members looking to continually assist with their development.
  • Demonstrably reduce the development needs of the team.
  • Deputising for the Head of Credit in their absence, providing key reports.
  • Take ownership of complex accounts to obtain payment where appropriate.
  • Oversee the collection process and ensure team members are adhering to the process agreed.
  • Ensure that the team is working to meet KPI’s both team and individual.
  • Use credit checking procedures to approve credit account applications & review existing credit limits where required.
  • Liaise with customers and internal departments to resolve queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist the Senior Credit Control Manager in the day-to-day running of the credit control team.
  • Any other ad hoc task as and when required.
