We’re on the lookout for a Credit Controller to join our awesome team in Sheffield, UK! This full-time role is a fantastic opportunity to support our growing customer base and play a key part in driving our financial success.
You’ll work with a wide range of customers — from small businesses to enterprise-level accounts — and help shape strong, lasting relationships.
Hybrid working: 4 days a week in our Sheffield city centre office.
Key Responsibilities
As our new Credit Controller, you’ll take the lead in managing our accounts receivable and ensuring efficient cash collection. Your day-to-day will include:
Collection Management – Generate weekly aging reports and proactively follow up on past-due accounts via phone and email to reduce DSO and improve cash flow.
Relationship Development – Build strong customer relationships, resolve invoice queries, and ensure timely payments.
Collaborative Problem-Solving – Work closely with your Team Manager to review AR ledgers and escalate any billing disputes.
Analytical Investigation – Resolve discrepancies such as short-paid or overpaid invoices to maintain financial accuracy.
Target Achievement – Hit monthly goals while maintaining high-quality standards and contributing to a strong team dynamic.
What We’re Looking For
✅ 1+ year of relevant experience in a fast-paced, international environment
✅ Self-starter with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
✅ Excellent relationship-building skills with both customers and internal teams
✅ Meticulous attention to detail and structured working style
✅ Proficiency in Excel and word processing tools
✅ Strong communication skills — fluency in English is essential
Additional European language skills (e.g., Dutch, German, French, Italian) are a plus!
