Job Title: Credit Controller
Reporting to: General Manager
Responsible for: Credit Control
Salary: TBA dependent on experience
part time hours 16-25 hours flexible
Location: Bridgend Town Centre Branch although other locations within Bridgend may be required.
Role : To support the General Manager in providing an effective and pro-active credit control service for Bridgend LifeSavers Credit Union whilst ensuring the activities of the Credit Union are carried out to the highest standards of integrity and professionalism in accordance with all relevant legislation.
· To monitor client accounts on a daily basis and to contact members to discuss and arrange repayment schedules where necessary.
· To implement effective day to day credit control operations, including compliance with credit control policy, procedures, implementing legal enforcement remedies, monitoring and service improvement.
· To work with colleagues to ensure cases are dealt with consistently and in accordance with the Credit Union’s policies and procedures.
· To pro-actively develop and monitor effective referral systems with a range of advice and support agencies, to maintain assist members and promote financial capability and inclusion.
· To assist with enquiries from members, visitors, staff and the general public, in person, by telephone, home visits, email or letter.
· Any other reasonable duties required by the General Manager.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From £12.40 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 25 per week
