Responsibilities

The Credit Controller is a pivotal role to keep cash flowing and the company thriving. You’ll be the go-to expert for tracking outstanding balances, reducing aged debt, and building strong, trust-based relationships with clients to ensure payments come in on time. Working with in a high energy, fast paced team.

With a keen eye for managing credit risk and resolving payment issues, the Credit Controller plays a key role in protecting revenue and supporting overall financial performance.

  • Operational Key Tasks
  • MONITOR AND MANAGE CUSTOMER ACCOUNTSRegularly review customer accounts to ensure timely payments and identify overdue balances.
  • CHASE OUTSTANDING DEBTSProactively contact customers via phone, email, or letter to follow up on overdue invoices and arrange payment plans if necessary.
  • RECONCILE ACCOUNTSInvestigate and resolve discrepancies in customer accounts, ensuring accurate allocation of payments.
  • MAINTAIN ACCURATE RECORDSKeep detailed records of all communications, payment arrangements, and account activity in the credit control system.
  • BUILD AND MAINTAIN STRONG RELATIONSHIPSDevelop positive working relationships with customers and internal teams to support effective credit management and resolve issues collaboratively.
