OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the company’s credit control processes, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts, and maintaining healthy cash flow. This position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients to resolve payment issues.

Duties:

  • Monitor and manage accounts receivable to ensure timely payments from clients.
  • Conduct credit checks and assess of new and existing customers.
  • Communicate with clients via phone and email to follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Maintain accurate records of all communications and transactions in the accounting software.
  • Collaborate with the accounts payable team to reconcile discrepancies and resolve issues.
  • Prepare reports on outstanding debts and provide updates to management on collection efforts.
  • Implement effective credit control procedures to minimise financial risk for the company.

Skills:
