JOB SUMMARY

The Credit Controller plays a vital role in managing the company’s credit and collections processes. This position is responsible for ensuring timely payments from customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all accounts are managed efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage the accounts receivable ledger to ensure timely payments are received.
  • Conduct regular analysis of customer accounts to identify overdue payments and initiate follow-up actions.
  • Liaise with clients via phone and email to discuss outstanding invoices and resolve any payment issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of all communications and transactions in the accounting software.
  • Assist in the development of credit policies and procedures to minimise risk.
  • Perform data entry tasks related to invoicing and payment processing.

  • Previous experience in accounts payable or credit control within the financial services sector is essential.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and data entry processes is essential.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess financial data effectively.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for engaging with clients professionally.
