Description

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the company’s credit control processes, ensuring timely payments from customers, and maintaining healthy cash flow. This position requires strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities to effectively liaise with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

Ø Cash Posting - Identifies, researches, and ensures timely processing of payments and error corrections, ensuring appropriate documentation of payments, allowances, denial, rejections, are recorded on individual accounts
Ø Debt Management - Oversee all debts owed to the company, including managing existing customer accounts.
Ø Collection & Reconciliation - Track and process invoices, reconcile accounts, and ensure prompt payment from customers
Ø Customer Relationship Management - Communicate with customers regarding outstanding invoices, address queries, and negotiate payment plans.
Ø Debt Recovery - Initiate and manage debt recovery processes, including legal action if necessary
Ø Reporting & Analysis - Monitor debtor balances, track performance, and report on key metrics to management
Ø Compliance - Ensure adherence to credit control policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
Ø Cover for team sickness & holiday
