Full job description

A well-established global professional services organisation is looking to recruit an experienced Credit Controller to join its finance team. This is a varied and fast-paced position, ideal for someone who is diligent, hardworking and enjoys building strong client relationships within a professional finance environment. Based in a centrally located office with hybrid working available, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who is professional, presentable and committed to delivering a high standard of service and proud to be part of a reputable company.

Working as part of a friendly finance team, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day credit control function, proactively managing client accounts and ensuring outstanding payments are collected promptly. You will regularly contact clients regarding overdue balances, monitor aged debt, allocate payments, reconcile accounts and resolve queries in a professional and timely manner. You will build strong working relationships with clients and internal departments, investigate outstanding balances and ensure any issues preventing payment are addressed efficiently.

Ideally you will have:

  • Previous experience in Credit Control, Accounts Receivable or a similar finance role.
  • Experience managing client accounts, chasing outstanding debt, allocating payments and reconciling accounts.
  • Strong communication skills, with the confidence to deal professionally and resolve queries effectively.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a diligent and hardworking approach, together with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
