SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Strong commercial awareness in a competitive industry.
  • Excellent telephone manner with experience in high-volume inbound and outbound calls.
  • Effective communication skills with both B2B and B2C customers.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; SAP experience is desirable

Responsibilities
  • Cash Collection: Actively chase all overdue B2B & B2C overdue and pre-emptive debt to ensure invoices due are paid on time, in line with payment terms and credit limits.

  • Inbound Calls: Manage inbound customer and internal depot calls.

  • Order Release: Review stopped orders regularly for release and work alongside our Sales Teams to clear any overdue balances or queries and to manage credit limits and release orders within SLA.
  • Query Management: Identify queries and liaise with our Sales Teams to effectively resolve customer queries to maintain good customer services levels.
  • Ledger Management: Regular debt ledger review, account reconciliations and manage unallocated cash
  • Fuel Cards: Oversee high-spend fuel card accounts, ensuring credit exposure is within acceptable limits.
  • Policies & Procedures: Adhere to company policies and procedures, striving for best-in-class credit control practices
