Overview
An exciting and expanding business in Eastbourne is on the lookout for a new Credit Controller in a NEW role to join their expanding team. With a supportive and friendly environment, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career in finance whilst playing a vital role in maintaining financial stability and excellent customer service.
This role is full-time, permanent, office-based in Eastbourne.
Salary is up to £28,000 + bonus + benefits (depending on experience/qualifications). Higher salaries can be discussed.

Duties

  • Ensuring payments are made accurately and on time from the residential customers
  • Work out and support customers with suitable payment plans
  • Conduct weekly account balance reviews and oversee the pay as you go credit control process
  • Produce monthly aged debt reports and ensure debt reduction targets are met
  • Assist with reconciliations, processing incoming payments, and other finance tasks as required
  • Be happy to help out with other ad-hoc administrative responsibilities in a collaborative team environment

What we’re looking for
A successful candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate prior experience in credit control or debt collection, with strong customer service skills and the confidence to handle challenging conversations with empathy.
