Accountabilities and Key Roles: Support the credit department in all their needs regarding the technical analyses, evaluation and following up of projects financed by the bank. Authorize disbursements to projects under implementation. Establish and maintain good relations with all parties involved in the construction sector in order to promote the bank services in proper time and manner. Follow up latest industry trends and sectors. Attend relevant forums and meetings. Review disbursement requests and to check quantity of work completed for projects under implementation. Study contractors requests for financing projects and to check profitability of projects and the technical ability of contractors to execute them. Participate in studying, reviewing and following up the projects announced by the government or the private sector to promote the bank services for concerned parties. Act as “ Adel “ for possessive mortgage agreements when needed. Prepare “Data Base” for completed projects, includes recommendations and remarks that could be useful for similar projects. Coordinate with other bank departments on issues related to projects reviewing or financing. Review and comment reports prepared by team members regarding all issues related to projects and prepare a final recommendation to the Corporate Banking Management. Conduct site visits as may be deemed necessary. Allow payments to contractors (clients) respecting the facility approval conditions and terms. Act as a supervisor for Engineering Dept in the technical review and following up of all projects financed or to be financed by the bank. Responsible for administrative matters regarding team members, including evaluations, time-job compliance, allocation of days of and training programs. Job Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable university. Experience: Minimum 10 years of professional experience in supervising or executing civil and other projects. Competencies: Excellent knowledge of Banking Facilities like Guarantees, Loans, L/Cs, etc. Good in English and Arabic. Good computer skills (Ms Office). Solid communication and presentation skills.
