JOB SUMMARY

The Credit Management Specialist is responsible for the Customer Master credit side completion of the new account set-up. Conduct credit worthiness of the customer by thorough review of the application and pulling credit report as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • University/ College Diploma.
  • 1-3 years of current experience in a comparable role.
  • Finance / Accounting experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and other Office applications.
  • SAP experience is a must.

Responsibilities
  • Review account set up for accuracy, ensuring business registration & government ID’s are valid & attached to the account.
  • Review customer credit worthiness by pulling credit report as required.
  • Assign credit limit, credit risk & collector allocation.
  • Assign province tax codes.
  • Set-up invoice outputs for all new accounts.
  • Reach out to customers paying by CC to acquire the CC info and ensure that accounts are reviewed on time throughout the day.
  • Respond to inquiries for orders on block to ensure timely release, and block accounts as required.
  • Responsible in maintaining Can-Credit Apps mailbox, ensuring timely response to inquiries.
  • Support AR Inbound for incoming calls, credit card payments & balancing
