• Leading the assessment and sanctioning of commercial loan proposals alongside the frontline Relationship Directors.
• Acting as a key decision-maker in Deal Forums and liaising directly with institutional funders.
• Monitoring complex transactions through to drawdown and beyond, ensuring risk and compliance controls are met.
• Shaping lending decisions that align with our business strategy and funder appetite.
• Supporting less experienced colleagues and acting as a mentor for new team members.
• Continuously improving credit policy, process, and commercial thinking across the business.
