Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking an experienced Credit Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in credit and collections, with experience in managing the credit granting process and account collections of multiple companies. This position is an in-office position that can be based out of one of our main BC (Kamloops, Langley, Chilliwack) or Alberta (Calgary, Edmonton) branch locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the VP of Finance and GM’s, the Credit Manager will be the go-to person for all aspects of credit granting, credit review and account collections.
  • Manage and oversee the company’s credit policies, ensuring smooth financial operations .
  • Review and evaluate credit applications, granting accounts based on financial analysis while ensuring a thorough review of credit checks utilizing various credit reporting agencies.
  • Monitor customer accounts across multiple companies to ensure accurate and timely payments .
  • Work closely with the sales and operations managers to assess risk and manage credit exposure .
  • Build strong relationships with customers offering support and resolving issues related to payments and credit.
  • Prepare detailed reports for the finance team pertaining to collections and A/R balances for multiple companies .
  • Prepare detailed reports for GM’s pertaining to credit performance, trends and recommendations.
  • Prepare account reconciliations as required .
  • Monitor project and equipment deposits with a strong attention to progress pay deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to credit management.
  • Responsible for escalating delinquent credit situations, taking practical steps to resolve slow payment while maintaining customer relationships.
