Hensall Co-op is seeking a dynamic individual to become an integral member of our team! The Credit Manager will manage the daily activities of the AR/Credit Department, liaise with partners, conduct credit reviews and establish credit limits, and provide exceptional service to our customers and members. This a full-time position at our Hensall location.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily activities of the AR/Credit Department
  • Ensure all team members understand the credit and collections policies and procedures.
  • Conduct credit reviews of new and existing customers to determine credit worthiness, establish credit limits for both Domestic and Export accounts.
  • Resolve credit related issues with customers.
  • Collect all overdue accounts, collection accounts and previously written off accounts.
  • Work collaboratively with sales staff to resolve outstanding account issues.
  • Provide personable and professional customer service experience to customers, members, and investors.
  • Processing of online payments.
  • Liaise with Farm Credit Canada and other partners.
  • Ensure that all HC employees understand the credit policies, procedures, and controls so that they can be followed correctly.
  • Attend member functions, farm shows, grower meetings and other corporate events to network with current and potential customers/members.
  • Meet members and potential members to discuss their investment needs.
  • Provide support to the Membership & Customer Service Officer.
  • Establish priorities, initiate new ideas and concepts to deal with problems, and to improve efficiency.
  • Understand and follow all HC Health and Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
  • All other duties as assigned.
