Toromont Cat is looking for a Credit Manager to join our team at our Thunder Bay Branch! Pay Type Full Time, Permanent Compensation $53,125 to $66,407.50 The listed base salary is just one component of our total rewards package, and performance-based or discretionary bonuses may be available As a Credit Manager, YOU will experience: * Working within one of the safest organizations in the industry where your safety and well-being are our most important priority * Working for the best-in-class equipment dealer and with the premium Caterpillar brand * Opportunities to continuously Learn, Grow and Develop with our Toromont team through our internal Training teams that are geared for your success * Competitive total rewards including: wages, benefits, and premiums (as eligible) In a typical day, YOU will: * Opens and processes new credit accounts * Collects and follows-up on customers’ accounts * Releases orders on credit hold * Reconciles accounts * Handles customers credit limits * Issues weekly reports * Supports other employees within the department Must-haves for this role: * Must have post-secondary education in Business Administration with a strong Accounting capability. * Excellent knowledge of MS office; excel intermediate level * Knowledge of accounting and legal aspects of credit * Must have excellent communications skills with customers in order to make collection calls. * Ability to analyze a customer’s Financial Statement and utilize Equifax to properly determine the credit worthiness of our customers.
