Description

Established in 2009, Ume Loans is a well-established provider of loans that help change people's lives. We focus on our customers’ potential rather than their past, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to access the finance they need.

With a commitment to empathy and understanding, we offer tailored solutions across car loans, personal loans, and business loans, helping our customers move forward and improve their credit profile. We take a common-sense approach to lending, which gives our team the power to find the strength in a customer’s profile, so we can help them when others can’t.

We believe in the value of technology and have invested heavily in building our systems to support speed, efficiency, and compliance in credit assessment while supporting scalable growth. Our team is ambitious, and our business is at an exciting time as we continue growing rapidly while changing our customers' lives for the better.

Role Overview

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Credit Analyst, Asset or Commercial Finance Broker with leadership or mentor experience, and is eager to grow into a well-supported, core leadership role.

In this role, you'll support the day-to-day operations of our Credit Team, working closely with a small and effective team of Lending Specialists while also working directly with Senior Leadership to help shape the future of Ume Loans.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about:

✅ Developing and mentoring people

✅ Building team capability, confidence and capacity

✅ Genuinely helping customers achieve their financial goals

✅ Driving performance, accountability and growth

✅ Delivering consistent, high-quality outcomes for customers

The Credit Manager will lead a dedicated team, drive operational efficiency, develop talent, and maintain our compliance standards.

The Credit Manager will be expected to champion the company’s mission of providing second-chance financial opportunities to customers who may not qualify for traditional lending products.

  • As this role requires a high level of collaboration, and we highly value our team members
