Description
Major Responsibilities: ​ - Acquisition of customer for potential financing in line with the business targets and risk appetite of the bank, including microfinance, SME and corporate. - Ensuring that the customer needs are fully understood and matching solution/production is offered - Ensuring the credit appraisal and collateral assessment is conducted in line with the bank’s policies and procedures - Ensuring that all relevant evidences are obtained as required for appraisal of the customer - Liaison with relevant external and internal departments to ensure that all supporting activities are completed such as evaluation of collateral, securing legal opinion and mortgages etc. - Ensuring quality of credit to avoid delinquencies and issues in credit portfolio - Ensuring close liaison with the Branch Manager to ensure all requirements are in place and duly discussed and vetted with the branch manager. - Ensure continuous relationship with the customer - Ensure continuous monitoring of the customer business performance and related market developments which can affect the customer business - Ensure that all processing is compliant to the rulings or sharia - cross selling of other bank’s services to the customer - Post disbursement follow up with the customer - Any other assignment as given by the line manager. ​ Requirements Education: - Bachelor degree in Economics/Accounting/Finance/Business Administration, Islamic banking. (Master's degree holders will be preferred.) Islamic knowledge and certificates (preferred) Experience: At least 2 years’ experience in credit, customer relations, recovery and collection agencies, banks and financial institutions Skills & competencies: · Proficient in writing proposals · Sound knowledge of accounting and financial statements · Efficient time management. · Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power point) · People management. · Financial analysis skills
