Description
Credit Verification 1. To screen and ensure all information in relation to loan applications and supporting documents received are in order and adequate for credit processing. 2. To ensure credit checking of loan applications received are completed by sales force. 3. To input credit related information into BCS of applicant(s), if any.  4. Existing and Related Borrowing confirmation. 5. To check all existing and related borrowings for repayment track record. 6. Confirming credit bureau checking (e.g. CTOS/DCheque/CCRIS) 7. To verify and review the initial checking by Sales Force. 8. Income verification 9. To check criteria for Decline (Represent) due to incomplete or insufficient documents submitted.   Credit Evaluation and Recommendation 1. Risk identification and mitigation 2. To identify the risk of every application received, if any and mitigating factor using the five ‘C’ namely Character, Capacity, Capital, Condition, Collateral etc. Recommendation 1. Based on the evaluation, recommendation to either approve, approve with variation or decline the loan. 2. To generate CR09 and escalate application beyond credit officer/supervisor’s DA to Credit Manager for decision based on the loan amount applied via BCS. Fraud Detection 1. Submit all suspected fraud applications to Fraud Management Unit for confirmation. 2. Other duties and responsibilities as and when requested by superior.
