About the Role We are looking for a Credit Officer to join the team on a 4‑month temporary assignment, working onsite at the Eastern Creek office. This role sits within a busy contact centre environment, handling mainly inbound calls and supporting customers with collections and account-related enquiries. Hours are Monday to Friday on a rotating roster between 8:30am and 5:30pm. Previous contact centre experience is required. There is a strong possibility the role may convert to a permanent full‑time position at the end of the assignment. Key Responsibilities Collect overdue payments by contacting customers and negotiating suitable payment arrangements. Manage and resolve customer enquiries, including accounts, toll notices, and financial hardship requests. Identify and minimise potential bad debt, referring accounts to external agencies when appropriate. Work closely with internal teams to resolve escalated issues and support effective credit management. Key Skills Strong communication and negotiation skills when speaking with customers. Experience in credit, collections, or a contact centre environment. Ability to problem‑solve and handle complex customer or account issues.
