About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated Credit Research Analyst to join our team at RHB Asset Management. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and monitoring credit risks across a wide range of MYR credit issuers. You will collaborate closely with Portfolio Managers and internal committees to provide in-depth credit analysis, drive investment decisions, and contribute to the credit research function's overall effectiveness. What you will be doing Evaluate credit risks of MYR credit issuers, conduct sector and economic analyses, and formulate views for inclusion into the Buy List Monitor assigned credit portfolio for early signs of credit migration and credit events; conduct impact assessments on material announcements and news Attend bondholders’ meetings and vote on corporate actions, ensuring appropriate approvals and timely communication with internal stakeholders and clients Participate in investee company events to stay updated on corporate developments and share insights with Portfolio Managers and clients Support Portfolio Managers during client meetings, addressing credit-related queries on portfolio holdings and Buy List credits Contribute actively to Investment & Security Selection Committee meetings with credit-related insights and recommendations Assist in preparing credit-related reports for internal committees and external clients Participate in process improvement initiatives and support management directives as required What we're looking for Minimum 1-3 years of experience in credit research, investment analysis, or a related field Strong analytical and communication skills Deep understanding of credit markets, particularly MYR bonds Ability to interpret financial statements, assess corporate risk, and articulate investment opinions clearly Passionate about capital markets and maintaining a high standard of professional integrity Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment What we offer At RHB Banking Group, we are committed to fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment that empowers our employees to reach their full potential.
