Job Summary:
The Credit Review Analyst plays a key role in supporting the bank’s credit risk management function by evaluating new loan requests, auditing existing loan portfolios, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines. This position also supports the lending committee process by conducting internal property evaluations and documenting meeting minutes for the loan review meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in loan review, credit analysis, or a related banking role.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with Teslar is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze new commercial and consumer loan requests for creditworthiness, policy adherence, and risk rating.
  • Perform audits of existing loan relationships to assess loan quality, documentation compliance, and ongoing credit risk.
  • Complete internal property evaluations for real estate-secured loans, including market research and value assessments.
  • Prepare detailed reports on findings and recommend appropriate risk ratings or corrective actions.
  • Take accurate and comprehensive minutes during meetings, ensuring timely distribution and record-keeping.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive financial and customer information.
  • Assist in preparing for regulatory and internal credit reviews or audits.
  • Stay up to date on banking regulations, credit trends, and underwriting best practices.
