About the Role
The Credit Reviewer is responsible for conducting independent reviews and assessments of credit portfolios to ensure compliance with the organization’s credit policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. The role focuses on evaluating the quality of credit decisions, identifying emerging credit risks, and recommending corrective actions to strengthen the credit process and portfolio performance.
Responsibilities
Conduct a credit end to end process review and prepare the report.
Analyze credit product proposals from internal.
Identify risk, room for improvement and prepare recommendations after review.
Setup methodologies to identify potential borrowers from multiple datasource.
Perform independent reviews of credit proposals, renewals, and existing credit exposures to assess creditworthiness and risk rating accuracy.
Evaluate adherence to internal credit policies, approval processes, and regulatory guidelines.
Analyze financial statements, business performance, and collateral adequacy to assess repayment capacity and risk exposure.
Identify trends, weaknesses, and potential problem credits within the portfolio.
Bachelor Degree any field, from reputable University
Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience, preferably from start-up/tech company or financial industry.
Good knowledge about credit risk flow process
Intermediate proficiency in using data tools (SQL, BigQuery, etc)
Excellent communication skill and stakeholders’ management
Strong analytical skills and problem solving
Adaptable and wiling to travel
Have Credit portfolio management experience will be an advantage.
