We take risk management very seriously at Mintos in order to protect the interests of our investors. As a Credit Risk Analyst, you will become a vital part of our Credit Risk Team, playing a crucial role in monitoring and evaluating lending companies to determine their eligibility for inclusion in the Mintos marketplace. You will: You will have the opportunity to contribute to the structuring of deals, support decision-making, and participate in due diligence and monitoring activities. Your responsibilities will include: • Support the due diligence process on loan originators across the world by performing initial financial and portfolio performance analysis; • Conduct regular monitoring of existing clients, identifying early warning signals and potential risk factors. Assist in tracking and evaluating the performance of lending companies to ensure portfolio quality and stability; • Collaborate across business channels to gather customer due diligence information and support ongoing monitoring; • Prepare initial credit and financial analyses of lending companies; • Assist in the technical execution of credit risk processes, including prospectus updates and ad-hoc analyses. • You will have the unique opportunity to explore business practices beyond Latvia in regions like Europe, Asia, Africa and Central America. Your professional skills and background: Must-haves • At least 2 years of experience in financial analysis; • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail; • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis; • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills; • Team player with a collaborative mindset and willingness to learn. Nice-to-haves • Interest in exploring how AI tools can be applied to improve data analysis and automation within credit risk processes; • Previous experience in an alternative lending company, banking or audit.
