- Managing legal issues and documentation review regarding structure and other issues that arise in connection with structured financing and lending transactions - Advise on legal structure of lending transactions related to Credit risk concerns and protections, including working with Credit coverage officers on drafting Credit covenants and clarifications on clauses which provide Credit protection - Ensuring the legal documentation conforms Credit Risk Management's requirements and understanding through the execution phase of a transactions - Utilizing legal knowledge to review external counsel's assessment of potential legals of a transaction's underlying collateral legal agreements (such as termination clauses on underlying lease agreements between a tenant and the borrower in a transaction) as well as potential weaknesses in credit support documents such as guarantees and equity commitment letters - Presenting to senior risk management, regulators and internal audit credit related legal risks and findings Experience - 6-8 years of experience in corporate, banking and/or capital markets experience at a major law firm and/or a large financial institution - Familiarity with structured finance and secured lending transactions - Commercially driven and strong desire to work on a business team - Excellent verbal and written skills and ability to communicate with senior management and clients - Ability to build effective working relationships, including across functions, and interact comfortably - Proven leadership ability to manage and deliver on multiple projects under time pressure FRM is committed to creating and providing opportunities that enable our workforce to reflect diverse backgrounds and views. Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $95,000 and $140,000 per year at the commencement of employment. This role is hybrid and currently requires in-office attendance of 3 days/week.
