Mollie is looking for a talented and motivated Credit Risk Specialist to join our Risk & Fraud department. Beyond technical skills, we’re seeking someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, contributes to a positive team culture, and is driven to learn, grow, and improve how we work.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in onboarding new merchants and monitoring our existing portfolio to detect and manage credit risk. You’ll work closely with our commercial teams and have a direct impact on Mollie’s growth and value creation — all while helping refine our processes and ensuring smooth information flow across the business.

• Conduct full credit assessments for new merchants, with clear, risk-mitigating recommendations.
• Continuously monitor existing portfolios (SMBs and Enterprises), and advise on credit limits or collateral adjustments.
• Help improve internal credit risk models, policies, and processes.
• Respond to internal and external stakeholders on credit risk matters.
• Analyze financial statements to evaluate merchant health and risk to Mollie.
• Assess a broad range of data — business models, credit scores, bank statements, processing history, and peer benchmarks — to develop a comprehensive risk profile.
