CREDIT FINANCIAL SYSTEMS PRODUCT OWNER

PreciseSource, a national executive search firm, is recruiting for a Manager of Credit Financial Systems to join our client, a global multi-strategy private equity investment firm with $70B in AUM. The role will act as product owner over the firm’s credit systems supporting the rapidly growing private credit business within the firm. The Credit Systems Product Owner will need to take a hands-on approach to managing, optimizing, and evolving a suite of critical applications and data platforms, with direct exposure to Investment, Operations, Valuation, Tax, Treasury, and other core business functions. This position is well-suited for a technically adept problem-solver with a strong drive to grow into a strategic leadership role. The ideal candidate must have experience within the private credit industry and exposure to a one or more of the technologies listed below, preferably IVP or VPM. REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in system analysis, product management, or a similar role. A minimum of 5 years experience in financial services or alternative investments is required.
• Familiarity with data platforms and tools such as Power BI, Lakehouse architecture, SQL, FIS VPM, IVP Polaris, and Microsoft Fabric is preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities; can comfortably work across technical and business teams.
• High level of initiative, accountability, and desire to grow into a leadership role.

• Systems Ownership: Lead the management of key systems supporting the Credit Platform—including portfolio monitoring, data warehouse, security master, and ABL tracking tools. Ensure ongoing system stability, performance, and alignment with evolving business requirements.
• Strategic Execution: Drive enhancements, assess new tools, and help shape the platform roadmap as the firm evolves.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with front, middle, and back-office teams to understand requirements, deliver solutions, and translate business needs into technical execution.
• Implementations & Enhancements: Lead and support system rollouts, upgrades, and integrations. Coordinate and perform QA testing and user acceptance.
• Data Architecture & Governance: Support robust, scalable data flows and collaborate with Data Governance to ensure reporting and compliance needs are met.
• Process Optimization: Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline operations and reduce manual effort.
• Training & Support: Provide training to business users and mentor junior team members. Act as a go-to resource for all things related to supported systems.
• Vendor Management: Liaise with third-party vendors to manage support, enhancements, SLAs, and licensing.
