We are currently seeking an experienced Branch Manager for a credit union located in Walnut Creek, CA!
Type: Full-time, direct hire
Salary Range: Up to $110,000/annually + 15% bonus
Branch hours: Monday – Friday: 9:00am - 5:00pm or a shift close to that

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3 years of previous credit union or banking experience preferred.
  • Previous branch management or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Previous experience supervising or managing employees required.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Must be able to pass background, credit history and bondability checks.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all regional office operations, including audits and fiduciary duties.
  • Ensure exceptional member service through a consultative, multi-channel approach.
  • Promote membership growth by networking with fire stations, unions, and firefighter organizations; collaborate with business development as needed.
  • Handle escalated member issues by coordinating timely research, responses, and resolutions across departments.
  • Oversee lending and deposit pipelines effectively.
  • Forecast and schedule staff to ensure adequate daily member coverage.
  • Coach and mentor managers and team members to align with the Credit Union’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Equip teams with necessary training, tools, and resources to succeed.
  • Hold teams accountable for service levels, quality, and efficiency; provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
  • Support team career development through training and advancement opportunities.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.
  • Assist in executing the Credit Union’s overall business plan.
