North Toronto Crematorium, a new crematorium dedicated to providing dignified and respectful cremation services, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Crematorium Transfer Driver to join our team.
Start Date: As soon as available

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Minimum 2 years of experience as a Funeral Sector Transfer Driver. ( Funeral Home, Transfer Service, Crematorium etc.)
· Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a committed team.
· Compassionate and respectful demeanor, with a strong work ethic.
· Valid G class driver’s license

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Working with operators and admin staff to prepare routes for the day
· Examining paperwork to make sure all is completed and fully compliant, per the FBCSA.
· Performing Pickup and Drop offs for our funeral home partners.
· Representing North Toronto Crematorium and its values at Partner Facilities & on the roadways.
· Ensures the completed and legal paperwork is handled and communicated to the admin and operator staff
· Ensures that the vehicles in the fleet are maintained and communicate any maintenance needs.
· Transporting and delivery of cremation containers to partner funeral homes.
· Ensures the proper handling, dignity and respectful treatment of human and cremated remains at all times.
· Adherence to all workplace safety regulations
