REQUIREMENTS

  • 10+ years of experience in residential construction
  • Previous experience as a Project Lead / Working Foreman is an asset
  • Ability to lead a crew and work independently
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
  • Ability to brief a crew clearly and communicate project goals
  • Willingness to learn new installation methods and procedures
  • Ability to follow systems set in place and help develop efficient systems within your crew
  • Supply your own standard hand tools and battery-powered equipment
  • Experience with exterior finishing, decks, and sunroom installations
  • Valid Canadian driver’s license with the ability to drive and tow trailers
  • Physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions
  • Dependable, safety-focused, and committed to quality work

Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead a small crew (3–5 workers) on-site
  • Execute and complete construction projects from start to finish
  • Report directly to the Project Manager
  • Troubleshoot and problem-solve as issues arise
  • Plan and organize tools, materials, and consumables
  • Coordinate and complete daily work to meet timelines and quality standards
  • Work hands-on as a carpenter while overseeing the crew
  • Travel to job sites and transport materials and equipment.
  • Work honestly and go above and beyond for clients
  • Present yourself professionally and represent the company respectfully on-site
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable job site
