Description The Crew Lead is the main point of contact for the onsite construction team and is responsible for ensuring the project is completed in accordance with all specifications. Requirements RESPONSIBILITIES: Site supervisor for all materials, laborers, and job specifications. Responsible for all aspects of safety on site, including conducting safety meetings. Operates various power tools, skid loaders, air compressors, forklifts, and other related tools and equipment. Effectively communicates with customer and subcontractor representatives on-site. Organizes, supervises, leads, and trains construction team members to complete projects within established guidelines and time frames. Coordinates and assesses all aspects of the site project to ensure the project is complete per manufacturer and engineering specifications. Completes daily progress reports and maintains communication with manager to ensure the customer’s expectations are being met. Fulfills all regular and advanced installation duties, including project layout, and completes required paperwork in a timely manner. Responsible for all equipment and utility locations to ensure a safe excavation environment. Schedules all inspections throughout the project to maintain regulatory compliance. Schedules subcontractors and ordering materials. QUALIFICATIONS: High school Diploma or GED preferred. 5+ years’ experience in a construction related field. A valid driver's license is required. Ability to meet insurability requirement of a good driving record. Ability to perform manual construction work and equipment operations. Ability to work out of town and overnight as needed. Must have a valid CDL certification. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Attention to detail. Ability to lead by example. Problem solving skills. While performing the duties of this job the employee is often exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, and other outside weather conditions. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, ability to adjust focus, and ability to distinguish color change. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate/high.
