Description The Crew Leader/Foreman Enhancement must have at least one year of experience in directing crews and jobs and have a valid Class “C” California Driver’s License, but Class “B” is preferred, with a safe driving record as required by our insurance company standards. Also, have the ability to perform multiple tasks, meet critical deadlines, and possess technical knowledge of commercial and landscape maintenance practices. Crew Leader/Foreman also needs to have technical knowledge of Enhancement Maintenance practices and standards. The Crew Leader will also have the ability to read, write, and speak English and Spanish. Requirements Key Responsibilities · The Foreman must supervise and coordinate the work of a team on specific projects, ensuring that everyone is working skillfully and efficiently. · The Foreman is responsible for managing budgets, timelines, resources, and client expectations, ensuring that projects are completed on time and meet the highest standards. · Effective communication with clients, team members, suppliers, and other stakeholders is essential to understanding client requirements and resolving issues · The Foreman must ensure that all safety rules and company policies are followed by all team members, and that personal protective equipment is used when necessary. · Collect, verify, and reconcile employee hours from ExakTime timekeeping system. · Ensure proper job cost allocation of labor hours to support accurate project costing and reporting. · Track and audit employee time records, including overtime, sick leave, PTO, and other pay codes. · Monitor employee attendance and timekeeping. · Provide exceptional service and support to employees regarding payroll-related questions. · Other duties as assigned Required Skills & Qualifications · Gardening: 3 years (Required) · Supervision: 1 Year (Required) · License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) · Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills · Ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment · Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred · Problem-solving skills. Physical Requirements and working conditions The physical requirements described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. · Ability to lift heavy objects (e.g., bags of mulch, plants). · Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods. · Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.) · Primarily outdoors in various weather conditions. · Potential exposure to noise from equipment and machinery. · May work near moving equipment and vehicles. · Hearing: Adequate to perform the essential functions of the job. · Vision: Normal visual acuity. · Lifting to 50 lbs. · Pushing up to 50 lbs.
