Description Full-Time Crew Leader in Training (Construction/Landscaping) Pay rate: $16.00-$18.00 plus overtime Valor Environmental is the largest full-service environmental services company in the United States. Install and remove Silt Fence. Install protection to storm inlets. Work with heavy duty hand tools (sledge hammer/shovels, etc.). Install various types of erosion control measures (BMPs) as prescribed by reporting agencies. Watch for safety hazards on jobsite, correct employees anytime they are working in an unsafe manner. Operate company machinery. Additional duties as assigned. Requirements Requirements • Previous construction or landscaping leadership experience • Must have a valid Driver’s License • Must be able to physically work outdoors in all types of weather • Must be able to work weekends and extended hours as needed · Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks. Be able to lift 50 pounds of weight frequently throughout assigned workday. (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions)
Responsibilities
The primary responsibility is leading a crew of Environmental Field Service Specialists, stepping in when the Field Quality Manager is absent. This includes installing and removing silt fence, protecting storm inlets, and installing various erosion control measures (BMPs).
