Our main goal is to provide excellent customer service and connect visitors with nature. Crew Members are an integral part of the Conservation Parks team to deliver high-quality park programming, special events and trails and facility maintenance. QUALIFICATIONS * Possession of or ability to obtain a Pleasure Craft Operator Card. * Ability to work in all weather conditions. * Ability to work during non-daylight hours. * Available to work most weekends and holidays. * Strong communication skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Willingness to learn new skills. * Currently possesses or is willing to obtain Emergency/Basic First Aid, CPR C certification. SUMMARY OF MAJOR TASKS * Delivery of park programming, including recreation opportunities like renting a variety of watercraft, fat tire bikes, ice huts and fishing rods. * Maintaining green spaces and facilities by collecting litter, pruning, gardening and cleaning indoor areas as required. * Set up, support and tear down for picnics and weddings. * Implementation and delivery of special events. * Safe operation of CVC-owned and operated vehicles and equipment. * Operating a point-of-sale system including online and in-person sales, reservations and payments. * Providing visitors with detailed information about our Conservation Areas and surrounding areas from a recreational and educational perspective.
