QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience as a Cashier or in a retail sales environment is preferred but not required.

• Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.

• Operate cash registers and handle all transactions accurately, including cash, credit, and debit payments.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their purchases.
• Utilize retail math skills to ensure accurate pricing and change calculations.
• Promote additional products through upselling techniques to enhance the customer shopping experience.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and readily available.
• Assist with product demonstrations to engage customers and promote new items.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations, including supervising junior staff when necessary.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
