Our main goal is to provide excellent customer service and connect visitors with nature. Crew members, Visitor Services are an integral part of the Conservation Parks team to deliver high-quality park programming, special events and trails and facility maintenance. QUALIFICATIONS * Ability to work in all weather conditions. * Ability to work during non-daylight hours. * Available to work most weekends and holidays. * Strong communication skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Willingness to learn new skills. * Currently possesses or is willing to obtain Emergency/Basic First Aid, CPR C certification SUMMARY OF MAJOR TASKS * Providing visitors with detailed information about our Conservation Areas and surrounding areas from a recreational and educational perspective. * Corresponding with staff and visitors via phone, text, or internal communication system. * Collecting accurate data, including customer information and postal codes. * Operating a point-of-sale system including online and in-person sales, reservations and payments. * Safe operation of CVC-owned and operated vehicles and equipment. * Trails and facilities maintenance including pruning, trimming, gardening, garbage collection and washroom cleaning.
