Job Description Are you ready for your next step within Boskalis? The Fleet management department within the Offshore Energy division is offering an internal job opportunity as crewing coordinator. Make your mark as crewing coordinator at Boskalis! As crewing coordinator you will participate in bringing the department to the next level as a team. You are responsible for crew planning on our seagoing vessels. You make sure seagoing vessels are optimally manned in order with safe manning and operational crew requirements. You also make sure all crewmembers are in compliance with STCW, by having the correct valid certificates & other project related required certificates if needed. The BOFM (Boskalis Offshore Fleet Management) Fleet consists of 26 vessels with a crew composition of Boskalis & Agency crew. Your responsibilities among others are: Ensure that there is a correct and complete planning of all crew on your seagoing vessels in cooperation with the vessel’s Management team. You make sure that crew changes can be carried out and arrange flights and transportation to and from the vessels for all relevant crewmembers. Ensure all crew are compliant with our BOFM training matrix and other project related required trainings. Fulfill vacancies on time in agreement with the Crewing HR team. Joined responsibility on the succession planning & development of your crew. Maintaining and collecting necessary personal documents, such as visas, specific to visa type and country, filing them on SharePoint, uploading personal documents, maintaining visa request overviews per person/vessel, and preparing crew overview lists for visa requests. Control and acknowledge expenses and invoices related to the crew on your vessels. Your qualities and experience You can move ahead as a Crewing Coordinator if you have: At least 3 years’ relevant work experience in crewing or equivalent. A working and thinking level at a bachelor’s degree. You already live in The Netherlands. Fluent in written and verbal English, punctual, and possesses effective communication skills. STCW knowledge preferable but can be learned on the job. Persuasiveness and strong personality. Stress resistant. Team player. Qualifications Your team: You will work as a Crewing Coordinator in the crewing team of Offshore Energy. Full/part-time job: The function of Crewing Coordinator is a fulltime position.
