Phillips Solicitors are a friendly, high street firm based in Mansfield with offices also in Nottingham and Shirebrook. This role will be primarily based at the Mansfield office.
We are currently recruiting for a paralegal in our Criminal Defence Department. Working as part of the Crime department, supporting the Solicitors with their varied case loads and will include attending local police stations and the Crown Court. We operate an on-call rota and Police Station accreditation would be preferable but not essential as training will be provided. Experience managing your own Crown Court case load is desirable.
Ideally this exciting opportunity would suit someone who has completed either a degree in Law or has experienced some legal training.
This is a great opportunity to gain experience within a professional supportive team and comes with six week holiday plus bank holidays and overtime payments for out-of-hours police station work if or once accredited.
