Description

Cameo Consulting Group, LLC, a government contracting and staffing practice based out of Alexandria, VA, is seeking Criminal Analyst varying skillsets to support a prospective Federal client in Dallas, TX. The positions are full-time, long-term in nature, and available upon contract award.

Duties:

  • Because there is no longer a law enforcement agency handling these cases, in addition to the frequency in which the USAO is receiving violations of supervised release alleging new offenses, the USAO has determined that a contractor is necessary to assist the USAO’s AUSAs in collecting and gathering evidence from the various law enforcement agencies to prove the new law offenses alleged in the Petitions for Violation of Supervised Release. Further, assistance is needed in reviewing the arrest reports and other evidence gathered, e.g. in car videos, body camera footage, witness statements, 911 calls, etc. in order to ensure that all necessary evidence has been obtained so it can be provided to the District Court and defense counsel in advance of the hearing on the Petition for Violation of Supervised Release.

Qualifications:

  • Have a working knowledge of the federal judicial system, what is and is not admissible evidence, and what is required to prove new law violations alleged in a violation of supervised release petition.
  • Must have prior experience reviewing and understanding Petition for Violation of
  • Supervised Release documents.
  • Be able to work with law enforcement agencies, district attorney’s offices, and other agencies, both in the Northern District of Texas and elsewhere, in a timely and efficient manner to provide the deliverables.
  • Obtain records and evidence from law enforcement agencies, perform document review of said materials, and provide the materials to the assigned AUSA.
  • Be of good professional standing and moral character.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of the rules of evidence and criminal procedure, the admissibility and inadmissibility of evidence, the elements of the violation and other applicable policies.
  • Experience testifying in court matters.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software programs (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license.
  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain adjudication for the requisite background investigation.

Period of Performance: Period of Performance shall consist of one (1) Base Year period, and an additional four (4) twelve-month Option Year periods at1,300 hours/yearly. It is anticipated that the Period of Performance will be as follows:

  • Base Year: 09/6/2025-09/5/2026
  • Option Year 1: 09/6/2026-09/5/2027
  • Option Year 2: 09/6/2027-09/5/2028
  • Option Year 3: 09/6/2029-09/5/2030
  • Option Year 4: 09/6/2030-09/5/2031
