Job Overview: The Criminal Records Training & Development Specialist (Trainer) develops comprehensive Criminal History and Fingerprint Capture training for a variety of criminal justice and non-criminal justice users. The position is responsible for identifying agency training needs, developing, authoring, and deploying web-based training curriculums and certification/recertification courses. Authoring and delivering instructor-led training courses. Trainer is responsible for maintaining training manuals and the Adobe Learning management system to monitor and enforce user certification requirements. Training must be updated routinely to comply with the FBI CJIS Security Policy, the Administrative Rules of Montana and Montana Code Annotated. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in education, organizational development, or related field. Two years of experience in training, teaching, or a related field. Other combinations of education and experience may be substituted. Special Instructions: The Candidate is asked to 5 minute presentation on topic of choice during interview.prepare a 5 minute PowerPoint presentation on a topic of choice if selected for an interview.
