Be the Steady Voice in a Young Person’s Storm | A Job That Changes Lives – Including Yours
Are you driven by purpose, fuelled by compassion, and ready to stand beside young people when they need it most?
This is more than a job. It’s a calling. It’s presence, care, and belief – right when it matters most.
About the Role
At The Salvation Army, we’re on the front-line of youth homelessness – not just offering a bed for the night, but building pathways to safety, independence and hope. As a Crisis Accommodation Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in a young person’s journey from survival to stability.
Working within a trauma-informed, psychologically safe, and youth-centred refuge environment, you’ll support young people aged 16–25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
Reporting to the Support Work Coordinator, this is a casual position, based in Bridgehaven located in Preston, VIC. You will have availability for casual roster (including evenings/weekends). No two shifts are the same – but every single one matters.
Compensation is in accordance with SCHADS Award Level 4.
