Job Details Job Location: Maysville, KY 41056 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: High School Travel Percentage: Road Warrior Job Description: This member of the Crisis Team has the responsibility to mentor clients and participate in daily team staffing and treatment plans. Role and Responsibilities · Member of the multidisciplinary Crisis Team who has experience as a recipient of behavioral health services. · Will share personal, practical experience and firsthand knowledge and insight for the benefit of the client and the treatment team. · Serve as mentor to clients to promote hope and empowerment in treatment. · Participate in daily team staffing and treatment plan review meetings. · Assist with follow up of clients served by Crisis team. · Attend staff meetings, in-service trainings and workshops as required. · Complete all documentation in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with medical records guidelines. · Schedule may be a swing shift. Hours will vary due to being part of mobile crisis unit. · Provide collaborative, proactive and positive relationships with families. · Demonstrate good communication and leadership skills to facilitate maximum family involvement. · Demonstrate care, balance, creativity and commitment to the children and families being served. · Advocate for clients, parents, and caregivers, at the local and state levels · Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications and Education Requirements · High School Diploma or equivalent. · Two years of volunteer or work experience with adults with behavioral health challenges. · Capable of visiting consumers in their homes or the community, which may not be handicapped accessible. · Must have knowledge and ability to manage their own mental illness and must be well established in their individual recovery. Special Requirements · Must possess a valid driver’s license. · Have reliable transportation. · Must obtain Peer Support Specialist Certification. Qualifications
