In this full-time position, you will be providing 12 weeks of critical care medicine and 30 weeks of general anesthesia coverage. The annual anesthesia case volume is approximately 14,300 cases, consisting of ~9,000 surgical cases, 800 cardiac cases, and 2,000 out-of-OR cases in GI, EP lab/Cath Lab, and interventional radiology. OB services with 3,000 births annually Critical Care Medicine Team provides coverage for 4 ICUs (SICU, MICU, RICU, CCU) with a total of 40 ICU beds – Coverage is divided between ICU teams. Responsibilities: Provide 30 weeks of Main OR anesthesia services Resident supervision in OR and non-OR cases, occasionally sit your own cases, no CRNA supervision. Provide 12 weeks of Critical Care Medicine Provide service for 4 ICUs (SICU, MICU, RICU, CCU) with a total of 40 ICU beds – Coverage is divided between ICU teams. Coverage is typically 7 days of 12-hour days or 12-hour nights.
